Wayne has officiated more than 3,000 weddings and over 4,000 life celebrations across three decades, and has trained and certified celebrants throughout Canada and beyond.

In the community
Wayne created and oversaw community outreach programs for children and adults, including after-school reading and lunch programs, a weekly free community dinner, an annual Christmas Day dinner, and a clothing and grocery co-operative. He has also served on the board of a hospice.
